Hear From
Our Families

"We love Dr. Failla! My 15 year old son, Ryan, has really grown and developed under his guidance. Ryan began lessons a few years ago playing Minecraft songs and is now choosing to dive head first into difficult classics. There's no doubt in my mind this is because of Dr. F's ability to critique with kindness and build the confidence needed to take on big challenges. The life lesson of working hard on a piece for weeks or months and hearing it evolve into something beautiful is invaluable. I am forever thankful to Dr. F for giving me the joy of hearing music played in my home and  for sharing his gift with Ryan. I know there will be many more years of them sitting at a piano and working through pieces together, and I couldn't be more grateful!"

“The positive and fun atmosphere at Jamestown Piano Studio has allowed me to develop a deep love for music and a strong foundation in piano playing. It's been an incredible experience!”

I began piano lessons at an early age and continued through high school. In college, I wasn't able to keep up with the practice and stopped. Despite missing it, I wasn't able to motivate a return until I met Dr. Paul Failla. Through his encouragement, musical expertise, and patience, I resumed lessons after 30 years. I LOVE the weekly lessons and am SO enjoying playing piano again.

I've had many good piano teachers but Dr. Failla is the best. His knowledge of music history, theory, composition and technique is immense. I like how he communicates advanced musical concepts in a way that's enjoyable and easy to understand. I like how he helps me put all the parts of a composition together to play the music the way the composer intended. Most of all, I like how Dr. Failla motivates me to take on and overcome big challenges.

If anyone's interested in learning music, or beginning again as I did, I highly recommend Dr. Paul Failla. He's truly an awesome teacher. Out of "5 stars", I'd give him a 10!
